Michelle & Matt's Wedding


Michelle and Matt tied the knot on June 17th, 2011 at: The Palms Hotel and Spa in Miami Beach, Fl. Michelle and Matt planned an intimate destination wedding to Miami with just their closet family and friends.


What better time to the year to come down from Virginia to soak up the sun and exchange vows. Since we only coordinated Michelle & Matt's "Day of" we always communicated via email and by phone. We came to meet each other on the actual day of the wedding.


Michelle was a stunning and beautiful bride and brought her tropical paradise theme to life by keeping her decor extremely simple and south beach chic. Our bride even wore a beautiful orchid on her hair making her look like the perfect island bride.

























As I mentioned in an earlier to post when creating your table names to have fun with them and even make your table names something significant to the both of you. In this case, Michelle and Matt choose to name their tables after places they have visited together.






























As Wedding Planners we assist the florist on the day of the wedding as much as possible so we distribute all the bouquets and even pin the boutonniere's on all the groomsmen. In this particular picture you will see a 9 month pregnant Jessica doing so.






Miami Weather especially during the summer is very unpredictable and when planning a Summer wedding one should always consider to have a plan B. For Michelle and Matt's wedding I was very cautious about the weather because although there wasn't rain in the forecast they predicted that the temperature was going to feel as if it was in the 100's but, likely enough it was very breezy and just perfect...

It's always an honor when one of my past students contacts me and wants me to assist and coordinate with their wedding plans. Xavier and Jessica- Siempre Scruggs- Villa Woodbine

You can say "It all started at the Ball Park" Jessica grew up going to baseball games with her family. She was a senior in College and in the brink of graduating but came home to West Palm Beach, Florida to visit her family. You see Jessica spent a lot of time at the ball park with her brother as her brother was a ball player. No spring breaks, summer breaks or even weekends they were always at the Ball Park. So one day back in May of 2011 her friend asked her to go with her to the ball park, Jessica rolled her eyes (yet another game) but as a good friend she went that day. Little did she know her life was about to change... By the Grace of God and good old social media, she and Xavier connected and the rest is History from there. Xavier Scruggs is now a Major League Baseball player whom has played for the St. Louis Cardinals and recently his talents were brought to the Miami Marlins. Marilyn & Rob's Wedding

I have to admit Marilyn and I hit it off the second she came to see me to assist her with her wedding plans. Throughout her planning process we built a bond and an everlasting friendship. She is an amazing and kindhearted person and I am so happy she met a man like Rob to share all her good qualities . Marilyn & Robert exchanged wedding vows at Plymouth Congregation Church in Coconut Grove, Fl. Marilyn's wedding dress was simply the most amazing and different Mermaid style dress, I have ever seen. It was very modern and chic and fit Marilyn perfect. The bushing bride arrives to Plymouth to meet Robert at the altar.
