Emma and Frank St. Jude Catholic Church and Sofitel Hotel

Image
My sweetest Emma and Frank, I had the pleasure to plan these two love birds from the very start of their wedding planning. During our journey god blessed these two with the most adorable little boy. Emma and I worked very closely and she was a true delight and always enjoyed times spent with me. It's so nice when you can work so closely to a couple and gain a friendship out of the planning process and these two did just that. I am happy to have planned and witness this beautiful union. Their nuptials took place at the gorgeous St. Jude Catholic church followed by a vintage-glam reception at the "magnifique" Sofitel Hotel working alongside with Photography by John Paul Soto, Infinity Sound Productions on the ones and two's with a beautiful glow of lighting with a magical pattern wall. Leyani with lace trim linens and Elements and Accents provided the chairs and decor elements. I, incorporated a mix of books, mercury candles, signs and vintage vases from our own inve...

Fall wedding trends- Yellows, Grays, rustic and sunflowers

Image
My favorite time of the year is just upon us. I love the fall season. Weather is nice, everyone is cheerful and giving and it's absolutely a must to be outdoors. Speaking of outdoors these are the perfect months for out door weddings. For Fall there's so many options and ideas to create a fall theme wedding. You can go the shabby chic route (which I will showcase on this blog) or you can go the Fall in love route (which I will also showcase). On both design inspirations I collected images with yellows and sunflowers. I feel yellow is such a beautiful color and we don't see it so much in weddings. It's a soft color and goes perfectly with gray or black. Here are a few inspirations I gathered from on-line resources to provide you with some neat and cool ideas for the Fall season. These are my gray and yellow with touches of Sunflowers for a fall wedding inspiration. I love how the gray sets the tone of elegance yet we still have a shabby chic...

Top 10 wedding day regrets!! Here are a few tips to avoid these...

Image
Lately, I have done some reading on articles on the knot, brides.com and bridal guide to name a few and I've come across regrets couples have on their wedding day. I will list the top 10 from my finds while reading along with some tips I would suggest couples do to avoid the stress, headaches and even drama. 1. Not hiring a videographer? Most of the time its because budget doesn't allow it or I've heard "Oh I will only see the video once" Let's be real- This is one of the  only memories you'll stay with after your big day. Video don't only document the entire day but if you invest in a professional videographer/cinematograher these professionals can actually create a story of your wedding day and they are truly masterpieces. Think about it guys! 2. Not investing in a professional photographer? Ok! another one that to me its extremely important going back to number 1. Another important vendor that will capture your day from start to finish. Photo...

Ralph and Sonia-Mandarin Oriental Wedding

Image
I almost forgot to Blog this over the top gorgeous wedding we did earlier this year at the stunning Mandarin Oriental, Miami. It's always a pleasure when a past bride recommends her family and friends and I can say in this particular family I have now coordinated 3 weddings and all amazing. Sonia and Ralph such a fun couple and both successful attorneys. Sonia was a bride that knew what she wanted and her florist/decorators really brought her vision to reality. The day and weather couldn't have been more perfect for a beach wedding overlooking the ocean with nothing but blue skies, and all white decor created by the very talented Always Flowers, the Reception florals consisted of 3 different styles of centerpieces all very elaborate, unique and different. The night went on with the talents of Mike Sipe Entertainment providing DJ and lighting. Beautiful memories captured by Carlos Baez Photography, Invitation by Leston created the gorgeous table numbers and the rentals came t...
