Daniella our little fighter! #TeamDaniella

Where can I begin??!! Daniella Marie Collazo is 2 years old and was diagnosed on May 30th, 2014 with Stage 3 "Neuroblastoma" Neuroblastoma is a cancer that develops from immature nerve cells found in several areas of the body. Neuroblastoma most commonly arises in and around the adrenal glands, which have similar origins to nerve cells and sit atop the kidneys. However, neuroblastoma can also develop in other areas of the abdomen and in the chest, neck and near the spine, where groups of nerve cells exist.

Since Daniella was diagnosed she has proven that she is a fighter and #wewillwin this battle and Daniella will be restored to being a healthy child. The Collazo families are only asking for prayers for little Ella to continue her fight against this monster. 

Dania Collazo (Daniella's mom) and I are childhood friends and I am only doing what any friend will do and is be there for her and her family, be a support system and give her the strength she needs to know that Daniella will be cancer free. Although we know the journey will be long and one that won't be easy, she understands that everything is to make Daniella cancer-free. 

At just the age of 2 Daniella's story and beautiful smile has touched so many and even singer songwriter "Monica" has sang to Daniella via social media. 

Prayers are powerful and let's keep this family in prayers. 

Daniella turned 2 on July 31st, 2014 and we just had to celebrate her, celebrate how much of a fighter, warrior and hero she is to so many people. Below are a few photos from her birthday celebration. 

I, as Dania's friend was more involved as a friend stand point and realistically just took over doing small elements at the party. An Elite group of vendors came together; everyone together created the most magical day for our princess. Daniella's favorite movie is Frozen so her party was a Frozen Winter Wonderland. I, want to personally on behalf of the Collazo families give "Thanks" to each and everyone that contributed into Daniella's party. Its when good people come together that we can create magic and a special day for someone.

Thank you Kelly for giving Dania the strength she needs and giving her the confidence knowing she will be sharing her story with others like you are with Ricky. You are my hero, role model and I love you!
