Luis and Annette's Wedding 2.22.13 Epiphany Church and Westin Coral Gables


The world we live in is so small! I had the pleasure of planning the wedding of my childhood neighbor. When I was about 8 years old, I moved away from the house I was born and raised in to another part of town and our neighbors were amazing! My neighbor's mother took care of me as a child and I referred to her as my "abuela". When we moved away life took it's own course and everyone went there separate ways with just a short amount of communication! I was happy she found me on Face book and became a fan on my business page and I remember clearly asking her... "Is this Annette that I grew up with?" and, she replied "yes" well a few months later she and I discussed her wedding and I was happy to be a part of such a gorgeous day! The day of her wedding I was overwhelmed with excitement to see all those that watched me grow and considered my extended family!
Amazing how small our world is right?

Annette was such a great bride and knew exactly what she wanted and had the vision of her day down to the tea. I was happy that I was able to assist her in bringing that vision to a reality!
During our planning we had a few surprises lined up for her husband Luis including the special appearance of UM mascot "Sebastian the Ubis" He was completely floored when we brought him in.

It's always an honor when one of my past students contacts me and wants me to assist and coordinate with their wedding plans. Jaynie was one of my past students at MDC while she was studying for Event Management she took my Wedding Planner course back in 2008. Xavier and Jessica- Siempre Scruggs- Villa Woodbine

You can say "It all started at the Ball Park" Jessica grew up going to baseball games with her family. She was a senior in College and in the brink of graduating but came home to West Palm Beach, Florida to visit her family. You see Jessica spent a lot of time at the ball park with her brother as her brother was a ball player. No spring breaks, summer breaks or even weekends they were always at the Ball Park. So one day back in May of 2011 her friend asked her to go with her to the ball park, Jessica rolled her eyes (yet another game) but as a good friend she went that day. Little did she know her life was about to change... By the Grace of God and good old social media, she and Xavier connected and the rest is History from there. Xavier Scruggs is now a Major League Baseball player whom has played for the St. Louis Cardinals and recently his talents were brought to the Miami Marlins. Marilyn & Rob's Wedding

I have to admit Marilyn and I hit it off the second she came to see me to assist her with her wedding plans. Throughout her planning process we built a bond and an everlasting friendship. She is an amazing and kindhearted person and I am so happy she met a man like Rob to share all her good qualities . Marilyn & Robert exchanged wedding vows at Plymouth Congregation Church in Coconut Grove, Fl. Marilyn's wedding dress was simply the most amazing and different Mermaid style dress, I have ever seen. It was very modern and chic and fit Marilyn perfect. The bushing bride arrives to Plymouth to meet Robert at the altar.
